First Business English – English Hour

At First Business English we believe that learners should have an opportunity to have a break from a structured lesson plan and have a chance to experience the English language in a relaxed environment with a no pressure group lesson. This is why we provide a 1 hour group lesson every two weeks that focuses on a particular business topic. These lessons can be a lesson focused on preparing for an interview or a presentation or on writing an email to a colleague or supplier. Each lesson will be a different business scenario.

Our First Business English English Hour will seek to provide an opportunity to those learners who might feel uncomfortable speaking English in a general lesson setting. These English Hour lessons will primarily be driven by the teacher with limited interaction which will allow learners to sit back and watch and listen if they wish, however we will welcome and ask for your interaction at certain stages during the lesson. It’s designed to be a relaxed English Learning hour. It really is up to you how much interaction you wish from this lesson.

Is there a cost for First Business English English Hour?

If you are a learner on our structured lesson plans the First Business English English Hour is free for you to join every two weeks if you have fully paid your current lesson plan schedule. This is valid for both 1-to-1 five lesson plans and 1-to-1 ten lesson plans and also includes 1-to-2 five lesson plans and 1-to-2 ten lesson plans.

You will automatically be sent an invitation link to join the lesson and it is up to you if you wish to attend. It is not mandatory and does not affect your current lesson schedule. It is a bonus opportunity to experience more of the English language in practice. If your lesson plan expires and is not renewed you will be subject to fees if you wish to join the English Hour Lessons.

If you are a non paid learner and wish to join us for our First Business English English Hour there is a €10 fee for each English Hour lesson. You will be invoiced and must pay in advance to attend our class and only then will we send you the invitation link to join our English Hour class. Please Contact Us if you wish to join our English Hour class. 1 Class is €10 and 4 English Hour Classes is €35.
