Who
We use who to ask about a person.
· Who is your best friend?
· Who is calling you?
Why
We use why to ask for a reason.
· Why are you late?
· Why do you like this movie?
Where
We use where to ask about a place.

When
We use when to ask about time.
· When is your birthday?
· When does the bus arrive?
Whose
We use whose to ask about possession.
· Whose bag is this?
· Whose phone is ringing?
Example Conversation
Emma: Hi, James! Who is your new teacher?
James: My new teacher is Mr. Smith.
Emma: Where is his classroom?
James: His classroom is on the second floor.
Emma: When do you have his class?
James: I have his class at 10 AM.
Emma: Why do you like his class?
James: Because he explains things very well.
Emma: Oh, I see! Whose book is that on your desk?
James: It’s Sarah’s book.
